Just a rough game... the 2-run deficit seems insurmountable cause of all those blow chances with RISP...

Good opportunity for Jones to prove himself here.

Interesting that Robin trusts Jones more than Stewart

I might be mistaken but didn't the Sox destroy Porcello last year?

It sucks when this is the first game I've seen this year.

Seems like same ol, same ol on Sundays, though I do realize Sox have been playing very good baseball, especially being 4-0 vs. Central.

Yeah. I thought this was a good spot for our long reliever since we could use a guy going 2 to 3 innings. I don't like Jones in this situation.

Is Stewart getting loose?

One thing is for sure -- Jones has some very good stuff. Really I believe he has starter caliber stuff, but he's never been able to put it together as a starter so I'm cool with making him a short relief pitcher.

Porcello faced the Sox 1 time last year, got the win, 6.2 innings, 3 ER.

This is gonna get ugly...

Guess it was someone else haha

Good pitching would be the prescription for this situation. Attack somebody Nate.

Problem is that both Jones and Stewart have NO business pitching in close games right now.

f***ing hell AJ

Need a triple play...please baseball gods!

Jones just cannot be in the majors with his lack of control.

Nice grab AJ.

Jones looks a *tad* erratic...

AJ has to catch 99/100 of those balls.

game won't be close for very much longer

Ah crap

Can't wait for everyone to get worked up with the "I told you we had no bullpen!"

For comeback games after a win streak, you're going to need to win with your worst relievers on the mound. Sometimes you don't because they are, well, your worst relievers.

Going to have to put on our hitting shoes today for a comeback. Still have four more innings to score.

He is now

Cooper has got to fix Jones' mechanics, as Tigers aren't even coming close to flinching on his change-up.
