At his age/with his current conditioning level, putting Kevin Youkilis at 3b is asking for poor defense and him getting hurt. He ought to be at 1b. He can be effective and probably healthy at 1b. I think anyone who tries him at 3b is doing a major gamble, and that includes Boston.
