Always makes me think of that famous Florida case with Cuban kid...what was his name, Gonzalez or Rodriguez? 43 of Sale's 76 K's coming into tonight are on the slider. The best thing you can say about him is that his name's rarely come up in any negative conversations at all...maybe that he's been TOO emotional, haha. Kershaw is suffering from plantar fasciitis in his left (push-off) foot. Has really struggled in his last 4-5 starts, at least compared to his standard established in 2011. Same reason we always seem to do better against pitchers like Felix Hernandez. Maybe it's because we concentrate or focus more against really good opposing pitchers...other than Sabathia and Johan Santana, there haven't been too many elite starting pitchers who have consistently owned us.
