You don't need to be personally invested in him/the Cavs to see what an asshole the guy was. No one would have questioned him leaving the Cavs. It was the bulls*** parading around the country getting other teams to beg for him that pissed me off. Especially since it was all for show. It was all for attention. He knew where he was going before FA hit.

Unlike Wade and Bosh, who went on a country-wide tour, at least several teams, Bulls included, went to LeBron in Cleveland to sell their proposals. There is no question "The Decision" was a mistake. LeBron would be the first to tell you that. I actually think he's a pretty good guy.

He's admitted it was a mistake. Everyone can move along.

Dan Gilbert never apologized for his comic sans letter. Now that's unforgivable.

And it's been nearly 3 years now. Cavs fans have the right to be pissed for eternity. Everybody else is just hating to hate. He admitted it was a mistake. Let it go.

I hate that it took a competitive league and made it into an uncompetitive joke.

Right, because the league was the perfect example of parity before that. It's not like 7 teams have won nearly every title since 1980 or anything.

Better to let the NBA go. It is waste of time to watch anymore, especially with Rose turning into a Golden Girl instead of an MVP.

LeBron going to Miami made winning championships and uncompetitive joke, just like the NBA has been almost it's entire existence. It shouldn't stop teams from becoming good. Only 9 franchises have won championships the last 33 years, since Magic and Bird came on the scene.

Except that the CBA made it a lot more impossible for anyone else to do it now, so we are stuck with the Heat.

Mike knows it too. His lame reasoning for choosing Kobe over LeBron ("5 beats 1") was so amatuer. A 10-year old could come up with that. It's way more complex. Imagine LeBron with early 2000's Shaq? lol. 80-2 every year.

MJ + Shaq = would also demolish the league, what's your point?

This. I've gotten sick of the Heat hype and the Rose drama this year and for this first time ever have devoted more time to the Blackhawks than the Bulls.

The point is it's not nearly as simple as "5 beats 1." You did see the interview, correct?

I'm ready for baseball and hockey playoffs. As the NBA turns can go away.

Oh ok, I thought you were taking a shot at Jordan, (at his total ring count) my bad. I agree with you, 5-1 argument is lame. LBJ would have more than 1 right now if he had prime Shaq as a team mate...don't mind me, I still get defensive about my idol, warts and all, lol.

Interesting how there is an argument to be made that the most competitive pro sports league is uncapped.

No way, that letter was the best. Probably not the brightest idea if you're Dan Gilbert, but hilarious for everyone else.

The day Rose steps on the court the Bulls go back to crushing the Blackhawks in ratings and hype.

It's starting to look that way.

And then the Bulls will have an even more thin, less competitive roster, and the Heat will be working on their 3rd ring.

Yawn.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 11:58 PM)
This Heat streak is getting a little bit interesting. You figure they'll wax the Raptors on Sunday. If they beat Boston in Boston next Monday, the streak will be at 23. Their next 4 games after that are at Cleveland (no Irving), Detroit (they suck), Charlotte (lol), and at Orlando (they suck). This thing could very well be at 27 by the time they come to Chicago March 27th.

Well damn. Anyway, this is it as far as I'm concerned regarding Rose's season debut. If he's too big a vagina to get up for the Heat and their historic streak, he's not coming back.

My whole perception would change if that was the game he chose. That would be ballsy. We've been assuming he'd choose some lowly opponent to come back against, in a whisper.

He won't come back tomorrow to get his ass beat.

It is comical watching the Lakers' guards try to play defense. They can't stay in front of anyone.

Their starting backcourt is a combined, what, 75-years old? Then your next guard is Steve Blake. Not surprising.

Hmm.. well damn I actually think there's a chance now.
