Gavin is here to stay this year. It doesn't sound like Danks is anywhere close to returning

I think Hawk just called Gavin a stupid f***er without actually saying it.

He's not known to have a very high IO.

Gavin is wearing thin on everyone.............he is just not a winner...........Floyd is the poster child of a losing pitcher in AL...........way to many HR's.

I'd rather Axelrod pitch.

I agree for this year....................no reason for him NOT to be traded in offseason............NONE!

With the Indians and Tigers giving up 2 cumulative hits while being in the 6th and 5th innings respectively, it's safe to say that both will likely gain another game on us with the way Floyd is pitching.

Gavin just isn't very good. He never improved his ability to pitch from the stretch and he never improved his stuff after 2008. He needs a change of scenery to the NL

I just hope our offense carries us today.

I will be thrilled to be up more than a game on the Tigers at the break. Very easy schedule for them next week

Walk some more.............give away Gavin.

It's not a loss yet...but get Gavin the f*** out.

I bet AJ is ready to verbally abuse Gavin in the dugout. Peavy will probably stick up for him.

Where is Jesus when you need him, Gavin?

Is he seriously about to load the bases again?

70+ pitches in 3 innings. Refuses to throw strikes, pitching scared.

I have no idea how Javy Vazquez has done since he left but I'd take his solid 5 innings over this crap any day.

Some of you are brutal today on Gavin.

phew....nightmare inning for Gavin. I consider us lucky for only giving up 2 there.

Because he's a loser.

Some guys just don't get better. Floyd appears to be one of those guys. I still think he'll go on a roll then be below average the last month and a half. He has a deer in headlights look to him all the time. I don't think this match up was so good for him.

I guarantee Gavin isn't getting behind in the count because he's scared. Being behind is extra scary

Not half as brutal as he is on us.

I'm brutal on him every day.

The Jesus comment was offensive.
