I bet a good number of folks stayed away. It is unhealthy warm out there today.

It was pretty hot yesterday too though, that can't be it

Just like everyday in Texas from June to September.

1pm heat vs 6pm heat = huge difference

Yesterday was much later in the day. This game is right at the hottest part of the day. I'm not sure I'd walk up for this one.

Also, it's a workday. But mainly the heat is ridiculous.

I bet a lot of people stayed away because they knew Tyler Flowers was starting.

Tends to cool off when he sun goes down.

Yesterday was a holiday.. Equivalent to getting a Saturday boost out at the game.. It was brutally hot though.

I was at the game yesterday and it was disgusting outside. You couldn't give me row 1 behind the Sox dugout today.

Come on Viciedo! Stop this nonsense...

:lolhitting

Holiday and fireworks yesterday helped. It was f***ing disgusting sitting out there but the game was great.

I feel bad for smokers on days like these. How do they even breathe?

When I was in ROTC in college a bunch of the fastest runners were guys who smoked a few packs a day. We normally ran on the hottest days.

Pretty crazy

@jasoncollette

.226/.317/.443 -- that's Josh Hamilton since the start of June. 121 PA, 14 BB, 37 K's

One inning per game played by the team.

Thanks. He obviously has quite a way to go.

So that means dont try it?

It's not big enough of a deal to start replacing your back-up catcher who plays 1-2 times a week.
