August 18, 200322 yr Been gone for the weekend so I missed all the great baseball the past couple of days. Looks like I didn't miss much. Cotts is picking up wheer he left off, and I Hear adkins isn't all that great. I worry about the Sox farm system. I assume by the lopsided scores we really sucked. Anyway good to be back Hey quick, this on the topic of Jon Adkins. As his stats have been terrible people are saying his stuff is much better than many thought. I think that he could be a great arm for the Sox pen with more minor league conditioning. Ok, I have not seen him yet in person. Looking forward to this week. Thanks for the update.
August 18, 200322 yr and the 5th is a 12 pitch inning for Cottsy...lets get a couple more runs, and get Neal his 1st MLB W guys.
August 18, 200322 yr Cotts with a 1-2-3 5th inning, K-ing Sadler to end it. Since the 2nd inning Cotts has only given up one hit and ZERO walks.
August 18, 200322 yr ok, prediction time Cotts has retired seven in a row. Leads at least 4-3 does manuel pull his usual stunt and take him out after five so he will leave the game 'feeling good about himself," and have a chance for the win? or does he let the young guy stay in? I say he's coming out. Seen it many, many times. He's big on this "feel good about yourself" stuff.
August 18, 200322 yr The Cotts like so far: CHI WHITE SOX ip h r er bb so hr era N Cotts 5 4 3 3 1 6 0 6.14

August 18, 200322 yr Cotts back out for the sixth... A-Rod takes him yard. Oh well, no shame in that.
August 18, 200322 yr YIkes.....had to face 3-4-5, and it was only a matter of time before ARod got a hold of one
August 18, 200322 yr After the homerun Spencer reached on an error then Cotts enduced Teixiera to hit into the DP. Jason Jones was offered a free pass by Cotts and then was relieved by SchowHawk.
August 18, 200322 yr Thames lined out to end the inning. Scott threw a wild pitch letting Jones go to 2nd, but it didn't end up mattering.
August 18, 200322 yr Boy Jerry sure didn't hesitate to get Schow out of the game tonight This is Marte and Gordon's game to lose right now...
August 18, 200322 yr ARod beats us again, as does Carl Everett in CF, letting the ball get past him for a 2 run triple on an ill-advised dive
August 18, 200322 yr Time and time again, Everett f***s up in CF...quit trying to MAKE him a CFer JM, jesus...you have a CFer on the bench in AaRow.
