The guys just look lazy to me, they show up from the start unready to play. Thats what it looks like to me. Maybe they're missing some competitive fire in the clubhouse, or maybe the manager is not motivating them enough.

remember when A.J. had to yell "Let's hit this piece of s***!", and then they started hitting?

People say this crap when the offense is slumping, it's called baseball. We're missing two of our best hitters tonight and a s***ty pitcher is throwing a good game against us, so yes, they're going to look unmotivated, I guarantee that's not the case.

Anyone for an AJ 3-run jack?

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 8, 2012 -> 09:32 PM)
And he also gets to play nearly every game no matter what

Dunn needs Konerko to hit 400 again so can get fastballs grooved down the cock.

Lots of incredibly weak first pitch outs tonight definitely added to the perception that they weren't focused.

Need Holland to have bad control this inning and walk Dunn and Youk

I don't think they were focused tonight at all, I guess they're looking ahead to Oakland

We need Holland to start walking people.

Nice swing by Dunn there. Give us a thrill Youk

Wow, Adam finally hit a ball hard.

Youk looked like crap tonight. Hope that knee isn't bothering him too much.

I have no idea how people hit Holland.

I see "In play run(s)" and I was hoping a homerun but at least the game is still alive!

Amazing the focus that the players get down in the 9th inning.

3 balks please

Alexei actually had a great pitch to hit there. He's been in a bit of a funk of late as well.
