What? Sox have always feasted off of guys who only throw fastballs.

He has a moving fastball and likes to miss outside the strike zone. He's gotten by in this game based on our chasing pitcher's pitches

RIOS.

Big ol' hacks Dayan

Hughes keeps putting that fastball in Viciedos wheelhouse but he can't stay balanced.

Sox 2-1 thru 6

Down to their final out in DET....still no baserunners or even a hint of one.

Tank has no chance against Hughes so far in his two outings vs the Sox. Viciedo needs to be able to cover that outside fastball if he's going to have no chance on inside fastballs.

Det wins 3-2

Vizquel thrown out trying to steal 2nd to end the game.

Had to get in scoring position for Rajai Davis...it was probably worth the shot, and a perfect throw from Avila.

Vizquel caught stealing by 5 feet to end the game. Tigers got some big gifts in this game on their runs.

I guess picking Beltre for my Beat-The-Streak was a good idea.....3 HR already in their game...

Got to keep Martin in the park here, as he'll be swinging for the fences.

What has happened to Russell Martin's career?

He was bailing to cover the outer half on that first pitch and got a fastball up and in.

He's had a lot of injuries. I think he has a bad back as well. Catching and bad backs don't go together very well.

Sale dealing.

Great pitch, has to keep using that changeup even if he can get by without it sometimes.

I hope that's the last we see of Chris tonight.

SALE! Filthy, and great to see him use the soft stuff on 2-0

Great work Chris... Now Robin...take him out!

He's struck everyone out in the Yankee line up tonight except Jeter.
