Struggling Francouer, Lefty Moustakas, Switch Pena

Ventura will DEFINITELY be tempted, since he's put down 10 in a row.

With no offday in here, expanded bullpen, and Detroit coming to town...I definitely stop Sale here...but that's just not how Ventura's handled him this year.

Tonight sets up as a HUGE game in that Angels/Tigers series.

CJ Wilson vs. Verlander, and then Greinke Sunday, who has been about as hot as any pitcher in baseball the last 4 or so starts.

Angels win tonight, the sweep definitely happens with how the Angels have been playing the last 10+ days.

Flowers now with 9 walks, 49 K's.

There is no such thing as "Definitely" in baseball.

He didn't own Crain that time.

You have to wonder why we throw Francouer so many fastballs in pitcher's counts. Throw him junk, he will swing at it once you get ahead.

Since when has Crain thrown this particular type of curve? I like it.

He's had it for a while. I don't think he's thrown it as much this year due to the injury.

I remember Crain used to throw a ton of sliders. I think he really changed his approach in his last year with the Twins.

There were times when he was untouchable against the Sox by throwing that slider in the dirt.
