Sox vs Tigers... The Final Countdown!!!!

Featured Replies

6-to-1 win. Excellent. Stoney is summarizing the win beautifully. Lotta home runs and good starting pitching is the Sox victory formula.

DET would be 1-9 if not for their 3 game sweep of us.

They're struggling even worse than we are, and questions abound on Verlander's health.

He has a miracle recovery when he faces the Sox.

Peavy versus Fister tomorrow.

Setting up as another huge game, with ALL the pressure now back on the Tigers.

Put up, shut up time for Peavy, if there ever was one.

Rios' English better than expected

I thought Beckham would decide to show off like a moron and drop the ball, but nope, that only happens to Infante. .266 .331 .367 with 7 errors since the trade.

Reed was wasted tonight.

Yeah, he was stumbling all over the place. I thought those guys weren't drinking in the bullpen anymore.

We need to crush them this series, they look exhausted and uninspired team, don't give them any chance to come back

It can't hurt that he breezed through the ninth. Closing is confidence as much as anything else. Like somebody said, Crain and Thornton were unavailable and nobody wants Myers in there with that contract thing hanging over the Sox heads. I'm glad Reed pitched.

On Reed

This guy's ERA in non-save situations is over 6. Which means he strikes out the side.

They looked exactly like the team they were facing the 1st 4 innings.

I hope Peavy borrows Q's balls tomorrow.

Me too. Or accept Q's salary for next season.

Tiger fans are having a Francona vs. Leyland debate.

God knows he owes Sox fan's that much.

After a tiger fan referred to Kenny as a brain damaged GM.

Kenny Williams has been just as good or better than Dombrowski.

For as bad as his farm system was supposed to be...he brought in a ton of arms that seem to have done very well.

I wish I could have been ITT earlier to give you all s*** for nay-saying in the first 4 or so innings of this game. I can only imagine how negative it got.

Rios' English better than expected

He was born in Alabama. I expected better the first time around.

Good. He doesn't seem to do as well sober.

Pretty much just about our unclutch offense that was....2-18 tonight with RISP?

Exactly. Sox looked good cause a few players decided to bash home runs. We NEED MORE HOME RUNS the next 3 nights.
