If we somehow come back and win this game, it would definitely re-energize the team. And then hopefully Minnesota gets lucky and wins both games tomorrow... both in extra innings. Why not dream a little?

You may be dreaming A LOT....but IM WITH YOU :headbang

We've hit way too many hard to CF so far this series

I'm not watching. How deep did Gordon hit that ball?

390. Just died out there

Sox just flat out suck with RISP these days. Haren had nothing tonight, and they still can only get 1 run in 5 innings.

Haren just dominating our lefties when it counts

He's been good vs lefties this year. Righties have crushed him. Almost as drastic of reverse splits as you'll see.

Keep it withing striking distance....Their bullpen is NOTHING to brag about

His stuff would lend itself to that

There's not enough drugs in the world to create that hallucination.

Hell of a play Alexei

Balta, any resources that would show what the Sox are hitting with RISP this month?

Someone quote Balta from earlier

Using only our eyes, the stats would say pretty s***ty.

f*** it, leave Q out there

At some point it would be nice to see the sox look to balance the equation a bit with our offense. It's the same issue as we have seen for years. When we click we hit home runs and score in bunches. When we go cold it's a series of pop ups and almost warning track shots. We need to be able to sustain the ability to score to help out the pitching. It can't be where the pitching has to be perfect to win. Look at what we've become. A pitcher has a qs and we lament what a bad outing he had. 4 runs and we start to look at tomorrow's matchups. That's sad. The offense needs to pick it up now.

The guy is starting to look like a stud out there. I checked the box score and he only has 1 ER.

I said this earlier today, but it seems like the offense shuts it down for the season with about 2 months left every year for far too long

Would anyone have a problem with PK being the DH and Dunn playing first? I really think he's better when he plays the field

Dunn's played a better first base this year as well
