Alexei, let the guy steal the base next time if he has that big of a jump.

Alexei HAS TO GO. I've had enough of his brainless misplays, dude is retarded.

  • Reasons I think Sox are in better position now than a year ago:   - Dunn proved that he didn't forget how to play the game of baseball, meaning his contract wasn't an absolute waste going forward

LOL.

What can you say? The weekend sweep has begun. Actually I think we'll win one game of the four. Can't imagine how right now, but we'll get one.

Just wow.

too predictable.

See ya in 2013.

Poor Jake.

BALLGAME AND SEASON.

There better be some big changes. If Ventura's going to be around a while, the bench coach position needs to be dramatically improved. Ventura's making decisions like someone who is completely overwhelmed by the moment.

Rays will score at least once here.

You just knew after that ridiculousness in the bottom of the 8th that the Rays would score. I'm not even mad at Myers. This pathetic White Sox offense is what has pi$$ed me off.

If you had told me this team would end up in the mid 80s in wins this season & I would consider it a season of missed opportunities & overall failure, I would've laughed at you. Well, here we are.

....blow it up? I don't want to be THAT GUY but...

Yeah thats why your nowhere near the front office.

I really don't mind the bunt, but my god, Wise not getting that bunt down was such a buzzkill to that inning!! Now the Rays as expected score, and win. WTF. This is BAD BASEBALL!!!!!

I feel like a Cub fan. Except Bartman is on the team. In fact there's quite a few Bartmans on that team.

Our guys should take note. That how a player comes up in a situtation and drives a mistake pitch into the night. Our guys have a hard time swinging with the cold yellow liquid flowing down their pantleg as we put the pressure on ourselves. Bases loaded, no outs and we tinkle down the pantleg.

How many men on 0 outs situations have we blown today? Seems like at least 3

This. He has no plan or brains when he gets to the plate. We have some really dumb players.

Disagree. I think he's done a tremendous job getting this far with a bullpen of rookies. Sure he made his mistakes, but to compete for the division until the last week of the season? I don't know how you can be hard on the guy. It's not like he was handed the keys to the Yankees.

Hard for me to perceive that as a dumb play, it's not always easy to see what the baserunner is doing at first base when you're trying to watch the pitcher

No more bunting. Puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!

Again, he was doing great prior to a month ago. However, he seems just as tight as the entire team, and his decision making has gone from really good all year to decisions that even his biggest supporters can't explain.

I love Alexei's defense but...we choke with RISP and guys like him are a big reason why. And before you quote me his stats, save it. Dude swings at anything. So does AJ.

He's on par with Ozzie managing the game from an offensive perspective, which I didn't think was possible.

Score a run? Please?

Its really impressive how the Sox have found ways to lose.

They really need 2 runs.

Id accuse Rodney of having something in his beard, just to get in his head.

Against Fernando Rodney? With this offense? Yeah right...
