Nah. It's hard to make a bad baseball movie.

Watch Summer Catch and see if you don't change your opinion.

Ben Affleck is not back in my good graces, I gotta tell you. Argo was a gigantic disappointment, Oscar or not.

He said hard to make a bad baseball movie, not impossible.

To me, Summer Catch was way more watchable than Trouble with the Curve

Based on that assessment I don't ever plan on seeing Trouble With the Curve.

Blasphemy

Mud with a 99 on the tomatometer.

Parker was watchable...not the worst Statham movie.

Jennifer Lopez, on the other hand, egregiously bad.

It's good but I wasn't blown away by it.

Now I get why everyone hated Trouble with the Curve... The stat guy loses to the eye test guy. Well either that or because it is a f***ing horrible movie.

AKA Grady Fuson's.....er, Clint Eastwood and John Goodman/Schuerholz's revenge.

Dunno if this was posted already.

Looks pretty funny, kind of the same genre as Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

Is Cannes Palm 'd Or winner "porn" made for men because the two lead actresses are beautiful (you'll remember one as the villain/assassin from the latest Mission Impossible in Dubai) and not lesbians in real life, and the director's not a woman or lesbian woman like the writer of the story the movie is based upon?

Interesting arguments.

A lot of similar arguments are arising over Young & Beautiful/aka Jeune Et Jolie (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/young_and_beautiful_2013/), which has received 11 positive reviews and only 1 negative and debuted at Cannes as well.

Because the actress was/is underage, and/or being portrayed in the film as 17...and she's Victoria's Secret model beautiful (Marine Vacth).

When are these movies coming out (ba doom ching)? I want to "judge" the sex scenes myself.

Don't.

Watched it last weekend. The non-baseball scenes try to be serious, and then all the baseball scenes are about as realistic as the hockey scenes were in Mighty Ducks.

Keep The Adventures of District 5 out of this.

Yes, Trouble With the Curve is brutal

Couple Man of Steel reviews starting to come out. So far all are pretty positive.

Ok, apparently Man of Steel predictably sucks.

I've read mostly good reviews about it. Even the bad reviews haven't been that bad.

They simply state that it's no fun and boring. Other than that - good to go!

The reviews I have seen have been pretty mixed but I think everything Snyder has directed has been no fun and boring (except for the Dawn of the Dead remake) including 300 so no surprise to me.
