I have found myself laughing out loud the last two episodes based on jokes that are paying off from episodes 1, 3, 4 etc. Very good. I'm looking forward to knocking out another one tonight. I've been re-watching the first half of the season before I watch the second half, gets alot funnier when I see it again.

I think it's the lack of spying/assassinations. Also I don't really care for Lucrezia or the Naples storyline. Perhaps it picks up though and makes the slow burn worth it.
