Im not taking it personally. I stopped arguing with him a long time ago over the issues he had with the show, it is what it is. I turn my brain off to watch the show, its a zombie apocalypse. There isnt much realism in it

They could do SO MUCH MORE with it, though. It's a show I watch more for its potential than what it actually provides.

I dont disagree with this.

It's like the television version of Gordon Beckham. And you can't blame somebody for being frustrated with Gordon Beckham.

Big Brother did it. Real world has become very staged and boring. Bought time to kill it off.

It's only usefulness is as a farm franchise for The Challenge.

Even then I dont care if someone was on real world anymore. Some of the most entertaining players on the challenge werent even on one of those shows.

bring back f***ing road rules. Give them a tiny s***ty RV.

Likewise. That show is stellar. Brian, finish season 1...it's well worth it.

I will. Just haven't had time.

MAKE TIME MOTHERF*CKER

Ordering this to hang up at my office...

Saw a couple of mentions for Masters of Sex. I liked it, but it was a little to bland for me. I've never been so simultaneously impressed with an actor (Sheen) but annoyed with their character. If I didn't have so many other shows going on in the fall I might have kept it up, but something was getting cut.

Did you make it to Episode 4? The first 3 episodes are slow and building, then the show takes off from there.

I think I made it as far as Lizzy Caplan's ex-husband participating in the study, or maybe one episode further.

Concur. The story lines are well done.

I lost interest midway through the first episode.

ha!

Anybody else watch Getting On on HBO? That woman in the 2nd episode was brutal/hilarious.

Yeah - that s*** was pretty funny.

I am just absolutely powering through Entourage. Halfway through S5 already. Every damn episode ends with a cliffhanger of sorts. It's almost too predictable in that sense, but it definitely keeps me watching.

"Hey! We got this movie deal, let's do it!"

*Next 20 minutes is spending the new money on frivolous things*

*2 minutes left of episode*

"Oh man, bad news. They are pulling the offer. Now we're broke."

But that's why it's a comedy, so we can forgive some storyline with good fun and humor. Drama and Ari are amazing. I love the way Ari talks to Lloyd. Cracks my s*** up.

Also, I have no IMDB'd it yet, but I am pretty certain that Lloyd's buttbuddy Tom is Schmidt from New Girl.

Just saw a trailer for the new HBO series "True Detective" with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. Looks phenomenal.

I love the actors in it, I'm just not sure why this show is any different from all the other cop/detective shows.

Stop before the last two seasons.

The last season is good. Second to last, not so much.
