February 21, 201313 yr I have to run over to Tampa this afternoon for a bit for work and was thinking about going to the Bruins-Lightning game tonight. Cant be that bad,right? I'm sure a baseball game would be more relaxing but you know, its not baseball season.
February 21, 201313 yr I use to travel a lot for business and went to games on a fairly regular basis. It was weird at first but I wound up having some cool times. Every so often I would meet someone else solo. For me it was better than sitting in the hotel bar.
February 21, 201313 yr Ive gone to a couple Sox games by myself when they would text out really good deals the day of games. It's a bit awkward, but it can be a lot of fun as well. You can enjoy the game how you want to that's for sure.
February 21, 201313 yr I went to the White Sox home opener in 2011 by myself. it was very nice. freezing cold, but the experience was nice.
February 21, 201313 yr Author I'm a Bruins fan and will be like 20min from the arena. It's like a 90min drive home but I think I'll scope out for a cheap ticket and just hang out.
February 21, 201313 yr I've never been to a game by myself, but if I lived closer to a venue or was on business near a venue I would definitely do it. I wouldn't fell weird about it at all.

February 21, 201313 yr I went to a Clemens- Buerhle game by myself. My dad couldnt go at the last minute and so I just went alone.

February 21, 201313 yr When I was in my late teens-early 20's I went to a lot of Sox games by myself. I never thought it was weird and always had a great time.

Yeah, I went to the Panthers-Toronto game on Monday when I was down in south Florida visiting my sisters. My sister got free tickets. Tomorrow I'm suppose to go to the Orlando ECHL game. February 21, 201313 yr Yeah, I've gone to plenty of Sox and Hawks games by myself through the years. I don't mind it at all. In fact, if I can't find a good/knowledgeable friend to with, I prefer to go by myself instead of just throwing anyone in the seat next to me.

February 21, 201313 yr Many times. I travel for work quite a bit alone and I've hit probably 20+ baseball stadiums over the past 10 years and a ton of other events. Last season I hit up a Hawks v Redwings game solo in detroit.
February 22, 201313 yr Author Not that bad so far. Saw Phil Esposito on stage talking and I think Carl Edwards got out of a limo 2ft in front of me. It looked like him but I don't follow NASCAR. Whoever it was had arena personnel catering to them. The two grandmothers next to me are pleasant.
February 22, 201313 yr I have been to 2 Cardinals games by myself. Once was a work related stay across the river. I got bored and went to a ball game. I ended up talking with a nice looking single mom there with her two kids. Made for a nice evening of conversation for both of us. Second time, I just wanted to check out the new Busch Stadium and made a day of it ... 3 hour drive, 3 hour game, 3 hour drive home.
February 22, 201313 yr Been to a few matches on my own. No big deal, but would rather go with the usual lads I go to the various games with.
