Reggie Johnson has had a terrible, terrible season. He's way too slow to play in this game. Ever since he came in, the Illini have had wide open 3s.

McLaurin absolutely KILLING us. One of the worst stretches of play for him all year.

Can't afford to turn the ball over. We need to win turnover differential when we'll almost certainly lose the rebounding battle badly.

Since when did we let him touch the ball let alone run the offense through him.

Terrible call on Griffey.

Also, our offensive gameplan with 10 or less seconds on the shot clock can't be to just run an iso with Paul. Run an offense!

The Shane Larkin protection plan in place

Stop, both teams got away with the same type of calls in the first half. Reggie Johnson continues to be Miami's Least Valuable Player. Illinois scored 6 points in that half when Johnson was off the court.

Im pretty happy down only three

Reggie has been completely useless since breaking his thumb. The guy use to have decent hands and was an automatic 12-15 points per game. Now he's a liability.

I think Larranaga was just trying to eat some minutes with Reggie to keep Gamble from picking up a foul or two with the lead. I cant imagine Reggie getting the majority of the second half minutes between the two.

Miami had fouls to give with 5 seconds left, real bad decision not to take a few to force Illinois into a tough shot. Larranaga has not coached well at all so far.

Man that oop would have been big

Illinois can win this game. Groce came prepared, I'm impressed with our gameplan. Gotta get some consistent offense going, though.

I have no idea what Larranaga is doing this game. Nearly every open look Illinois is getting is due to Johnson being so slow on defense. Miami's in a ton of trouble, as only Larkin and Brown showed up for them tonight.

Abrams, you could be so much better if you learned just a little shot selection.

Also, every coach in this tourney is the best ever

This is random as f***. But props to fathom/heads to being the only college basketball fans (college hoops sucks, but i do follow the tourney) on this board that doesn't b**** about the refs every 3.6 seconds.

Give em a call man

Ugh, here we go
