Nestor Molina is terrible, he probably will be out of the organization within 2 years if this keeps up.

They missed it with him, no question.

It's just so frustrating when you see what Melacon and Bailey brought back for their teams. Another reason why there's such a diminishing amount of talent in the Sox organization.

Hawkins 2-2...K's that is.

Joey DeMichele really isn't anything, is he?

He's an interesting prospect. Certainly not nothing.

It's early, but for a pretty good college player, I would think he'd dominate high-A pitching. Hasn't happened yet.

Impressive offensive performances so far tonight.

RHP Nestor Molina has been removed from tonight's game with an apparent shoulder injury.

Meh.

Meh.

I kinda wondered why he was pulled. Not surprised.

Hawkins, 3 K's, error, assist

Add another K to that.

Wow. I really don't want to hate him this fast.

This is where "Player Development" has to do a good job.

Hawkins now striking out in 61% of his PA. LOL.

The next highest I see in the league is someone at 43%, but in only 23 PA to Hawkins 36 PA.

Also, Keenyn Walker leads AA-Southern League with 15 K.

Jared Mitchell leads the AAA-International League with 20 K.

So each advanced league we have a team in, we have a player who leads that league in Ks. Mitchell in AAA, Walker in AA, Hawkins in High-A

Wil Myers singles in two in the 9th.

Must be nice to have a real prospect.

At least Trayce Thompson isn't leading the Southern League.

That's progress.

If all four of those outfielders fail...then, just wow. Buddy Bell, so long, goodbye. Paddy's not exactly causing one to jump up and down with excitement, either, although he deserves more patience than Bell.

Of course, the defense of Bell is that you can't easily turn raw athletes into baseball players...that the fault lies in organizational/drafting philosophy and not player development. It has to be a little bit of both...and too soon for Hahn to fall on any sword.

What does any of this have to do with Paddy? Other than possibly Nestor Molina, most of the guys he has brought into the organization aren't even in the United States yet.

High K rates usually don't disappear. And guys will high K rates generally fail in the pros.

There are rumors he was advising KW/Hahn on the Zach Stewart/Edwin Jackson deal, that he was being felt out at the time for a possible promotion in title and salary with the White Sox...and his "insider" knowledge of the Jays' system was one of his selling points.

Puig hitting .389 with 2 homers and 7 RBI's already.

Seems like he might end up the best Cuban hitter of that young group of Cubans in Cespedes (a bit injury prone so far, but a very solid rookie campaign...and he would have more value as pure CFer than a corner guy), Viciedo and Soler.

At least Walker was 2/4 with an XB hit and 3 RBI's.

And Thompson's over .260.

That seems AWFULLY premature.

I've never seen this written or mentioned anywhere. The only person who has ever said this is you. If you're going to accuse the White Sox of tampering you might as well support it with some source.

So he was stabbing the team paying his paycheck in the back? Where did you see this at?
