Wonder if the fact that Rios hasn't been given any extra offdays this year is catching up with him.

I'm sure, thankfully there's a day off tomorrow. Good call balta

The rainouts have helped a bit I'm sure with that, but worth noting, he's in the lineup every day.

Where is Detroit getting a bullpen?

Well, Valverde is throwing like 2-3 mph fastball than last year. I don't expect him to be great, but he should help align their bullpen so Coke doesn't have to close.

A guy who was in single A ball last week is going to carry the Tigers to 93 wins.

That's a good point. After going 0-4 with 3 K's last night, I was thinking he would get today off if Wise could play. With a tough lefty like Price and runs at a premium, I can understand why he played today.

The injuries have just decimated any versatility that Ventura could have had with this lineup. As much as we make note of it, you can't expect to put out a lineup like the on yesterday and today against an above average pitcher and think you have a chance to win.

Wow cy Guthrie is 3-0

The real problem is the injury pile. If you had Viciedo out there (and maybe heated up, and maybe some hits from Beckham), you'd feel better about sitting Rios for a day. Instead, it'd be Tekotte or D2 out there against Price...eh.

Yep, he's going to be the main guy responsible for that :)

Rios has owned Price in his career. If he was going to sit this series, it would have been last night against Moore, whom he's struggled to make contact against in his career.

And y'all wonder why I'm skeptical of the Tigers being this 90+ win juggernaut.

Rondon is getting his feet wet now. He still may turn out to be the tigers closer--and who knows, he may be real good. Time will tell.

Because I think they're a better overall team this year than they were last year with Hunter a great addition to that lineup and having Sanchez for a full year.

Heath continues the walkathon.

Meanwhile in Chicago..... LOL! This Heath guy is killing us

Not quite sure why he got the call again.

Should of got 3 of 4 in this series. Heath needs to go to AAA after this game is over.

It's already happened over this last week. 4 losses for the bullpen since last Saturday now?

LOL! Omogrosso anybody?

At least Hawk has the built-in excuse for years to come that the 2013 White Sox were snakebitten from the start.

This has all the making of 2007 with so many AAA players on the roster. This team needs to get healthy and fast.

Hawk said base on balls biting Sox in the arse.
