White Sox acquire Casper Wells.

Is he on the roster for tonight's game as the Sox optioned Tekotte back to minors?

As soon as Wells has a bad game, the same people will call Rick Hahn an idiot for signing such a bad player.

I'm sure they won't wait that long...

It happened with Mackowiak and Alex Cintron. Let's face it, this guy may be around a couple of weeks at most, but they need a RH bat and there is slim pickings in Charlotte.

I think people were interested in Cintron only because of the one good year he had. I don't think anyone was calling for him to be acquired at the time that he was.

Mackowiak I would agree with.

The one big problem with Casper is the Sox need him to do something pretty quickly and he's been collecting dust during his various DFA's the past month. He's got to be a little rusty.

This is a good flyer. He's bound to be as good as Danks/Tekotte but is right-handed.

career .830 OPS vs. lefties, that's when he'll be playing

If Wells contributes at all Wise or Danks will be gone.

I agree. Once Dayan comes back we should have one lefty, one righty on the bench.

Too many numbers for his fan club to keep track of.
