What happened on the play at the plate? Just got home and all I can go by is this thread.

Moreau jumped around flowers and the plate. Missed the tag on the first pass but Flowers took a second swipe and tagged Morneaus shoulder as Morneau fell away from the plate. Flowers looked at the ump, no call was made, then Morneau tried for the plate again and got in before Flowers could tag him again.

 

The runner would have been out if the umps got to see te replay shown on the Twins broadcast.

I think the best angle was from the 3b on deck circle area, but when you see the replay its clear.
