5/15 White Sox @ Twins, 12:10 WGN

Featured Replies

Axelrod giving up a lot of hits of late. As flavum said, it should be an easy decision once Danks returns.

DA has nothing today and the Angels are hitting the ball again.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 15, 2013 -> 11:47 AM)
I was sitting right behind first base Saturday night. The throw Greene made on his error, TV did not give justice. There have been many plays I have watched on TV and wondered why the firstbaseman didn't at least stop the ball. This replay would have suggested that, however, the throw was so far wide and bad, if Dunn were a foot taller and as athletic as Michael Jordan, he had zero chance.

Did he hit Knoblauch's mom in the stands?

What's wrong with Dick Allen's posts?

That was actually only Escobar's 2nd career homer.

But, against the White Sox now....6 for 16, HR, 5 RBI's.

OUCH.

Sox make alot of very average hitters look like all-stars.

Elaborate.

Sox like Axelrod better than Santiago starting this year.. It is baffling, but Danks needs to take Axelrods spot. Dylan is now making the choice even easier than it was.

Playing with fire today so far.

When you put a Windy City Thunderbolt on the mound, you always are.

Escobar is batting over 300. He is far from an average hitter.

There's a handful of pitchers in Charlotte that I would rather have in the majors than Deunte Heath.

That's pretty much about as interesting as the Danks/Wise issue.

Problem #14 and #15 with this team.

I am always amazed Axelrod limits the damage most of the time he pitches. I think his stuff is very limited, but he must know what he's doing. Batting against him and not crushing him is probably very frustrating.

Career-wise. At least with the White Sox, where we excel in producing position players. Especially Latin Americans, lol.

I was just thinking the same thing.

Ultimately he's an average to below average hitter, but I don't understand how anyone can really knock White Sox pitching so far this season.

Pelfrey mowing em down.

He is average at best.

At least Alex is hitting again

How Pelfrey continues to pitch to Alex is beyond me.

Need a hit Dunn.

Last in runs, runs scored, RISP...slugging percentage, etc.

At least Rios is still hitting (building up his trade value!)

There's an immense difference between 1 game behind the Tigers (at this same time last year) and 7 games back.

Tie it up Dunn.

He's fine as a 5th starter on a good team. That doesn't mean Hector

Pitch around Dunn to get to Konerko... lawl

Adam!

Well, he should have . . .
