It's truly incredible how many awful things this team does at the plate. Not only that, but it's freaking hilarious that Ventura keeps letting Flowers face the righty closer.

Wow Flowers is freaking terrible. For the second straight night, he strikes out vs the closer and isn't even close. Hopefully he's long gone after this season.

Send Flowers and Jordan Danks down. Move Alexei from the 2nd spot (where even Ventura has questioned if it's had a big impact on Alexei's power). The only time there's been a change in the last month or so was when De Aza had a tummy ache.

I saw iit through gameday. It came u[\p pickoff attempt at2B and stayed there for awhile. I thought to myself this can't be possible but it was. Terrible. I read that Wise was at AAA for a rehab assignment. The writer said that Wise had been playing awful this year and might be DFA when healthy and they would keep Danks. Who has been playing terrible? Can't be anyone worse than Jordan Danks.
