Great thread titles the last 2 nights.

Marcum (1-9) is a LOL moment. And last night's dropped pop up was a LOL moment. How did u know it'd be a LOL series (more than usual)?

woot

Too bad I can't close out the "A Game of LOLs" trilogy since these turds lost.

There would have been no trilogy, it was a 2 game set

Lo and behold the SOX do it again... make a crappy pitcher look elite.

I'm ready for some Football!

Yes, same crappy pitcher with a 3.85 career ERA in 984 innings.

Marcum is a good pitcher. I wanted the Sox to acquire him last year and I wanted them to sign him in the offseason. If the Mets let him go, I'd advocate signing him again this offseason.

Ok he might be a good pitcher but if he's 0-9 he's obviously been down his luck. He must have had a lot of similar outings to the one John Danks had last night to amass that record. (Unearned runs)

Bad luck, but you get a high ERA because of earned runs.

Really, he's bound to pitch better at some point, and so it makes sense that he'd shut down a weak offensive team in the White Sox.

Hot damn, I missed his bloated ERA. Yikes. Well, you do have a point.
