Disagree. Just leave him on a pitch count, no more than 105. If he leaves after 6 at only 80 pitches, scouts wouldn't like that.

At that point thats enough for the scouts you remove him and expose him to as little risk as possible.

Might be pitching around Tank to get T-Flow up there, especially when Tank likes to get himself out as he's being pitched around

The way this season is going, he'll probably have a 2 hitter with 2 outs in the 6th, someone will hit a weak chopper to first and Peavy will sprain his ankle covering first. Although, if they are intending to compete next year, I'd rather they keep him. It does seem like they are going to trade him so maximize that value.

Yea if all these teams are soooo reluctant to pay an extra year on a contract that is beyond reasonable for what Peavy gives (which I don't beleive for a second ) then f*** 'em.
