I think he had a chance to get him at 1st since the runner probably wasn't running thinking the line drive was caught. But Conor wasnt prepared to throw it but ump probably said he dropped it and forced him to try for the out at 1st.

Garcia should have stepped out there. These pitchers are so slow.

Avi's biggest area for improvement is laying off the high fastball. He really struggles making contact with that pitch

Rienzo and Leesman both gave up 4 walks so 8 total plus 8 hits and an error. You don't usually win with that line

Gillaspie has been OK at times, including the game he won for me in Kauffman with the HR in extra, but he screams "mediocre big leaguer" to me. He ain't a starter. He's a better version of Lilly as a sub, but should be sub only next year IMO.
