Anyone watch Top Chef?

I should, I used to have Bravo on all the time when top chef/runway/other reasonable shows were on but now that it is real housewives 24/7 I never remember it's a channel anymore.

Season premiere was last night. Padma was both super hot and brutal in her judging at the same time. She ate one of the chefs creations and immediately spit it out into a napkin and walked away after blasting him for giving her a fatty piece of pork belly. I have no idea how he didnt get eliminated

I'm not sure what Homeland is trying to be these days. Pretty boring episode this week. And they used the theme music of the show in the episode. I've never see that before.

you know, i thought the exact same thing. But Padma did not. But the chef knew as soon as he plated it, that he was f***ed. They were doing a catering type event and she got to his table at the end, and she got basically one of the last pieces, so it was sitting there all day long

Yea, but this is OVERcooked. They had to cook for 250 people at this party, and her piece was sitting in there all day.

 

I kind of felt bad for him, because im sure the early servings were much better. but, he was a douche and made me hope he was about to get booted.

I meant in any TV show. I guess if you say it happened in BB it's not unheard of. I didn't remember that BB did that.

I'm surprised you don't remember this scene. This is such a gigantic scene in the show and gave me all sorts of emotions when I saw it.

My video production professor would absolutely lose his mind watching any modern tv shows or movies. He took points off our projects if we did any pan or tracking shots that weren't used solely for the purpose of showing the large size of something that couldn't be captured if our original field of view. Also, he had a MASSIVE issue with stage direction. I lost many points because the action would switch sides of the camera. He was such a pain in the ass to work with.

Next week is the series finale of Boardwalk? Wow.

 

So obviously Nucky and probably Eli and most of Nucky's gang is going to die. Not sure yet what will happen with Will, or with Gillian, besides being saved by Nucky.

 

Also, I feel like this Joe Harper person has to come back and play some role. No way he is just gone now. I've seen some rumors online that think Joe Harper is actually Tommy Dormody. But the timeline for that would make Tommy 13 or 14, and Joe Harper looks to be around 18-20. I guess Joe Harper is the name of a character from Tom Sawyer, so people think Joe Harper from Indiana is just a fake name. Would have been really cool if it was Tommy, but the timeline just doesn't add up.

 

 

Also, Homeland.....come on now. I had that feeling last episode w/ Carrie, but I thought I was just being crazy. I can't believe that is actually happening now. She just continues to disgust me.

Been watching this season on demand when absolutely nothing is on. Maybe I'll get around to this weeks on Fri afternoon.
