Axe was awful the last couple of months last year. I don't know if he was this bad, and he certainly didn't steal $2 million like Paulino apparently has.

I'm thinking you are right. If he pitched 5 innings and gave up 5 or 6, i would think they would continue to trot him out there. But this is just too much.

Yes, his bullpen signings suck so far, but neither of those guys were gonna be around for the next Sox playoff team anyway. Eaton, Abreu, Davison are the offseason transactions that matter. Not the makeshift bullpen on a losing Club.

And he puts a huge load on the bullpen, making a weakness even weaker. He's bad. Send him to Charlotte with the rest of the flash in the pans that the Sox signed, and maybe he finds something. If not, at least we won't have to watch him.
