Ventura looking like a genius that time.

 

Just goes to show how little confidence he has in Scott Downs at this point. And how close we were to seeing Scott Carroll as the "long man" in a game we were trailing the Yankees by only a single run.

We're still gonna see Downs, Caufield. Robin pretty much had to get six out of Noesi lest he run out of pitchers later.

Aha. Kind of like Hector Santiago out of Newark. Just assumed he was from the Dominican.

 

The Yankees' announcers are comparing his season so far to Rivera in 1996.
