Gary Bettman just told us on @kapandhaugh that his rough guess is that the salary cap for 2015-16 will be 73 million dollars. Up 4 million.

Just watched the first part of the Road to the Winter Classic. Lots of good stuff, a lot of behind the scenes stuff. Highlighted the Seidenberg hit on Toews, but didn't really get into the concussion protocol. A lot of cool stuff from the Capitals side of the show, too. I'm excited to see the rest!

Bickell and Sharp are probably playing their last seasons in Chicago(although not even sure you can move Bickell's contract at this point)

 

If it raises 4 million, I think only Bickell goes. Remember, Rozival and Oduya are most likely gone because then TVR will probably be bumped into a top 4 pairing with Hammer. And the bottom 2 will consist of Dahlback/Rundblad/Erixson/Johns/Vet FA.

 

Although Saad, will need a bridge deal, and Kruger will probably get traded this off season because of Danult's climb through the system.

Crawford still looking pretty shaky, though it isn't like his D is helping him out at all. Colorado could easily have four goals right now
