Sox 2-0 what a great AB..............WOW

aabbbrreeeuuuu!

I think Jose Abreu is a keeper.

Not bad. Abreu got a talking to last night from Parent and Ventura for a lack of hustle.

Buster Posey's single was the first first-inning hit Sale has allowed this season

No need to hustle if you hit it over the fence.

Pitching inside to Abreu is suicide.

Exactly. Don't want him hurting that ankle running to first base anyway. Just hit home runs.

Does anyone have a more level swing than Gillaspie?

I still don't get why pitchers are going inside to Jose, but play with fire and you get BURNED. Also, the saga of Conor Gillaspie: The Kid Who Only Hit Line Drives continues.

Pitchers always did the same thing with Alfonso Soriano. Throw him a slider low and away, he will swing and miss EVERY time. Instead they try to sneak fastballs in there, boom home run.

Ryne Sandberg as well.

Sale gets the 5/4/3 to end the inning.

It's also the first time since April 11th that Chris Sale has allowed a hit in the first 3 innings of a game.

Batters are now 1-31 (3 walks, 15 strikeouts) vs Chris Sale in the first inning this season. Posey's single was first hit allowed.

Those watching on TV...how does the attendance look? I was there yesterday and was surprised there was 25K.

Stupid shift on Alexei, leadoff man aboard. No double plays, let's go.

Sometimes I would have to believe they are just making mistakes in(i.e. not getting it in far enough)....but I agree that people should continue to throw low and away until Abreu adjusts.

Spoke too soon, first pitch DP.... Cmon Tank.

De Aza's OBP is somewhat impressive considering his awful batting average.

De Aza with a two out triple, come on Tyler. This would be a great run to steal.

Sox 2-0 thru 2

Tumbleweed with the can of corn.

Well at least he didn't strike out...
