To get picks.

And depending on what their plans are, they might have wanted that contract to help acquire another large contract.

Bulls picks really aren't valuable going forward. Maybe the Sacramento pick if it breaks right.

And even then, the Lakers aren't exactly a draft savvy organization

Draft picks are always valuable.

Keep in mind they put a claim on him. Other teams did too. They were the high bidder. There was no guarantee of getting him.

Lol. Well then why didn't the Lakers trade for the valuable picks?

We don't know if firsts were offered.

LOL...so true.

Doug just rejected a dude twice then went down the court and drained a three.

Bulls summer game on espn 3.

Doug with two blocks on one end then immediately drains a deep 3 on the other. GOAT.

I thought the game was at 10 boooo

Philly has good d with Noel. Doug has looked okay...working on his more interesting offensive moves

Really hope Snells game translates, he's been fun to watch. The reports of him adding 10 pounds of muscle is very apparent.

It's their online channel. Go to watch espn.

Noel is a walking injury

Bairstow around the rim...not good

I refuse to believe Bairstow averaged 20 a game in college.

Defensively he's great though and this Sixers court d is best Bairstow has seen so far.

Austin Freeman beastin

PGs on this team are just brutal. Just give it to Snell. He's clearly a man among boys.

Doug is short and flat today

Can I get another Nerlens Noel update? They haven't announced his every move yet.

Billy Baron. Just stop.

Yeah he's bad. He was electric the first game. The team is so much better on offense with Snell.

Bairstow had been bailed out about 4 times. He's like a bull in a China shop, but I guess that works sometimes.
