July 21, 201411 yr QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 01:46 PM) Marin getting rocked through 2 innings. 5 ER on 7 hits. The league is starting to catch up with him. He really only had two pitches before he added the cutter. Probably he goes to the bullpen when Rodon gets there.
July 21, 201411 yr Jacob May stole another base, now 36-for-42 in that department. Impressive for a guy who hasn't gotten on base all that often this year. His bat has cooled off some though. Coats 2-3, BB. He has not cooled off, .925 OPS in July, over .950 in last 10 games. Rondon doing better in A+ than I thought he would, went 2-4, hitting .266. Omar Narvaez splitting time but hitting well over .300. And he's an excellent defensive catcher.
July 22, 201411 yr 2-2 with 2 more doubles and 2 RBIs for Wilkins already, it's getting to the point where you almost want to stick Konerko on the 15-day DL with a phantom injury and call up Wilkins while he's this hot to see what we actually with him.
July 22, 201411 yr lol, my boy Wilkins is ridiculously hot. Or he's what others might call a "Kris Bryant slump"
July 22, 201411 yr QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 06:34 PM) lol, my boy Wilkins is ridiculously hot. Or he's what others might call a "Kris Bryant slump" 1.335 OPS in July. Even Cooperstown Kris would take that. Davidson K's are spiking again. I think we're looking at a guy with a poor-man's-Mark Reynolds-ceiling, but more likely Mike Olt. Contact issues are major. Would love to be wrong. Edited July 22, 201411 yr by Stan Bahnsen

July 22, 201411 yr Danks with his 14th home run (hitting .282 now) Micah is 2-5 with a double and SB (9) Edited July 22, 201411 yr by BigHurt3515
July 22, 201411 yr hope we see a regime change and Micah at second base no later than september. And if they can dump Dunn, give Wilkins a look too.
July 22, 201411 yr QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 07:46 PM) hope we see a regime change and Micah at second base no later than september. And if they can dump Dunn, give Wilkins a look too. All depends on whether they believe Ramirez can be replaced by Semien or Sanchez. Otherwise, you've got to make Semien the jack-of-all-trades McEwing/Oquendo player and let Sanchez/Micah Johnson fight it out for 2B. Would be pretty shocked to see Johnson moved to LF, but apparently they're not ruling it out. Just don't think a line-up with Eaton/Johnson/Sanchez is going to have enough pop. We'll find out soon enough.
July 22, 201411 yr Jake Peter 2-2, double. Hopefully the Sox have something there. Hope a move up is coming.
July 22, 201411 yr QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 08:11 PM) Damn flowers almost went yard You're doing the wrong thread trick like I always do flipping back and forth between minors and game thread, haha.
July 22, 201411 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 08:36 PM) Adams 6 k's in 2 innings, but hit around a little. That has been the early pattern.
