Never been to Comerica, but I'd like to share my memories of my late father's one and only trip to Tiger Stadium on July 21, 1997:

Other memories from this game: Only time I've ever witnessed 4 K's in an inning (thank you Wild Wilson). Also, the only other people in our section were two guys who must have had made at least $1K in bets on games every day. One of them had $100 on Alvarez tossing a CG SO at 25:1, and blew a gasket when he got yanked after giving up a 1-out single in the 8th with a 3-0 lead.

Well, the Tigers got shut out 1 of every 12.5 games that season and Alvarez was definitely an above average pitcher at the time so those probably weren't terrible odds.
