I could go for a postgame trade announcement.

Any late night deal would be heavenly right now.

Alex Rios left Wednesday's game after being hit by a pitch in the left quadriceps muscle.

Rios was hit in the third inning, and he was replaced by Dan Robertson in right field to start the fifth inning. Rios was hitless in one at-bat before exiting. The outfielder's name has been prevalent in trade rumors in recent days, so it may have been his last game as a member of the Rangers.

Exact same thing happened last year on the day before the deadline when he was on the sox. Probably just acts hurt.

I have to say, I didn't see the game, but kudos to Noesi to pitch six innings after giving up 6 runs in the first inning.

Especially given how the defense let him down in the 1st. Ramirez had a fairly routine ball go under his glove that probably would have been a double play. Instead it opened the floodgates, much like Miggy's error last night.

Stone isn't a great pbp guy but I'm enjoying him and Wimpy. Hawk can take his time coming back.
