Chris Sale does not have bones in his body, defies physics

Featured Replies

No comments? Wtf! :o

Some of those pics make me think Sale is a contortionist. I think his lanky body is why he can do what he does, or part the reason anyway.

Very good read, thanks Wite.

The slo mo video of a pitchers arm has always been gross to me.

I'm going to say false, I do believe he has bones in his body.

He's more like a shark. It's all cartilage.

That is the thing that jumps out at me looking at those pics. When you look closely at his arm, you can see the ligaments and tendons just bulging out out his arms.

HOW DOES NO ONE ELSE THINK THAT LOOKS LIKE RANDY JOHNSON

It's just plain scary... On a few levels.

Who? Randy Williams?

Strength + Flexibility = Velocity

Mark Prior was on steroids & that is how a guy with perfect mechanics breaks down. Too much strength, you lose flexibility.

Mark Prior didn't have perfect mechanics. In fact, he had the opposite of that.

He had a easy-to-repeat motion, which is why I think people said he had good mechanics. However, he had an awful timing issue that put a lot of stress on his arm.

He had perfect mechanics if you go by the House/Nolan Ryan/Rothschild version of pitching mechanics. There are just others who disagree with their version. I happen to be one of them.

Edit: I also don't think he was on PEDs.
