November 22, 201411 yr In a headline so improbable it seems like it could only come from a “Seinfeld” episode, ESPN suspended baseball analyst Keith Law from Twitter for getting into an argument with Curt Schilling about evolution, according to a report. Last week, Schilling, who is also an analyst for ESPN, went on Twitter to discuss and disprove evolution. Schilling responded to many people arguing with him over Twitter, including Law, who tried to dispute Schilling’s beliefs. Below are some of the tweets: follow links NY Daily News Another Deadspin with the original
November 22, 201411 yr Saw this earlier. Makes no sense. Wonder if Schilling complained to management. Awful and unlikable talents. It's almost the Fox News of sports. I only watch when games are on.
November 22, 201411 yr lmao how does Schilling (isn't he still employed by ESPN?) not get in trouble, but Law does? Schilling was the one who posted about evolution in the first place.
November 22, 201411 yr Author ESPN says that Law's suspension is not about evolution but hasn't explained why he's been suspended, meanwhile Schilling has been tweeting about how awful protests in ferguson MO are, while Schilling is still an ESPN employee.

November 22, 201411 yr I am no fan of Keith Law, but that twitter comversation does make you understand how it was possible Schilling doesn't have a dime left of the $114 million he was paid to play baseball.

November 23, 201411 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 21, 2014 -> 09:14 PM) Saw this earlier. Makes no sense. Wonder if Schilling complained to management. Awful and unlikable talents. It's almost the Fox News of sports. I only watch when games are on. Same. I've actively and happily avoided espn programming almost to the extent that I avoid dog s*** when I'm walking in a field or reality tv. It's bad. Luckily (except for when Kevin Millar's show is on), I get MLB Network.
November 29, 201411 yr Author Keith Law can hate the White Sox's system all he wants now. Props to him for this one.
November 29, 201411 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 29, 2014 -> 01:04 PM) Keith Law can hate the White Sox's system all he wants now. Props to him for this one. Very well thought out reply. Definitely respect him more now and Curt Schilling less.
November 29, 201411 yr QUOTE (raBBit @ Nov 29, 2014 -> 02:42 PM) So you respected Schilling prior? Honestly I didnt know he held these views. I didnt follow him on twitter.

November 29, 201411 yr QUOTE (raBBit @ Nov 29, 2014 -> 04:30 PM) Oh, okay. Yeah, he has strong history of being a fool. I did a quick google search after reading this thread and to no surprise there's plenty of material. He definitely has alot of ideas on certain subjects...unfortunately most of those arent informed with facts. Plus it appears he also doesnt like to argue with people trying to show him facts. He just isnt very smart.
