That leaves Flowers, right?

And Samardzija. Both are scheduled for Soxfest, and usually those guys hold out with a pending arb case. So I would suspect both will settle before then.

Happy to hear Nate will be back but when is he expected to be ready?

Yes. He was on with Rongey a week or two ago. He's been rehabbing in Cincinnati and said around the All Star Break.

Nice to see Sox getting guys signed early.

Yeah, the Sox aren't playing around this off season.

I am a big Nate Jones fan and I would loooooove to see him come back healthy and pitch well.

Same here. He'd make the bullpen that much better.

Might be the last $650K he earns in MLB.

Are you concerned he can't recover from all the injuries?

I agree there must be a lot of stress on the back/butt when you throw 100, but we may know sooner than the ASB as he ramps up to form.

Why? Because he had Tommy John? That is literally done dozens of time a year, and most come back as good as new.

Which he should of never had in the first place if it wasn't from his back issue and trying to rush to get back. That is probably the more longer term issue then his arm hypothetically.

No chance. Guys that can throw 97 with a wipe out slider like he has will get tons of chances. Anyways, he's under Sox control for a while still and they aren't just going to get rid of a guy like Nate Jones.
