January 29, 201511 yr J. Constanza: Bats L, Throws L, can play CF or either corner. Has had very few MLB at bats but has had some success in limited playing time. He is 31. I would think he is the kind of player that all teams have to make difficult roster decisions on that could find a home as a back up. I wonder what our scouts think of him.? Anyone have insight on him as a possible back up OF who could play CF?

January 29, 201511 yr I feel like Shuck probably has a little upside, at least. Besides, if Constanza is better, he's not better enough to make it worth the effort/cost of the transaction

January 29, 201511 yr QUOTE (oldsox @ Jan 29, 2015 -> 09:27 AM) Kinda like blowing the $4mm on Viciedo? They're not going to have to pay him that. Arbitration salaries aren't guaranteed unless the player stays on the roster through, I believe, Spring Training. I think he's going to cost them like $800k or something.
