Mark Buehrle still a class act.....JB not so much

I thought it was all fun and games as well, but I do see how someone could interpret it the other way.

In the context of an article that is all about how Buehrle doesn't like hazing, I don't see how that "f*** you" comment to the person who hazed him could be considered friendly

how many times you or other have said that to friends in a conversation.

" oh on a second thought F..... You and the horse you rode in on"

this is how i sometime use to tease a friend, esp if we are debating something trivia

MB's comment about how some people go over the top with hazing and all he remembered remembered was that it got really annoying, doesn't sound like he was really upset about it.

He could have been but the tone doesn't sound like it and MB in general is a really good guy and doesn't hold grudges.

on a totally unrelated question, will the sox go after MB when he is a free agent, would he be able to help the team???

I don't think so.

A Sale, Samardzija (resigned), Quintana, and Rodon rotation is filthy. No way they go into a season with 4 lefties in my opinion.

Buehrle is starting the Jays home opener against the Orioles. Going for his 200th win. If you're at the Sox home opener, keep an eye on the scoreboard.

I don't doubt we will kick the tires when he becomes a FA

in a way, i am thinking the same. right now this team is or will be loaded. too bad MB can't find a slot here. a fitting end to when he hangs it up.

Hopefully there isn't a fit here for him.

yeah.... a great positive from a negative fact.

i wonder, a #6 kinda of pitcher??

Assuming JS signs elsewhere, I would take Buehrle back in a heartbeat. Might get him on a two or three year deal which gives time for guys like Montas, Adams and Danish time to develop. Sale, Q, Rodon and Buehrle sound like a very solid front four to me. Danks would need to be traded or sent to the pen for the final year of his contract but that's fine with me. The Sox should be able to find a good right hander on the trade F/A markets. Maybe Montas shows he's ready for the 2016 season, who knows.

I think Buehrle is retiring after this season.
