I have been absent from the board for some time due to a career change that allows me considerably less time by a computer. All the same, I'm still doing what I can do follow the Sox.

That said, forget about opening day. The Royals had to win, right? Home opener after a World Series appearance, the Sox let them win. It is ok. There are still 161 more games, and I think they will win 154 of them. As follows:

-they lose 2 to Detroit because they'll catch them when they are strong

-they'll lose 1 to Cleveland because they have a pretty good team

they'll lose one to the Cubs out of sympathy

-- they'll lose 1 to the Astros because they're a solid-ads sabermetric team

-they'll lose 2 to the Twins because goddammit the Twins will find a way and I hate them and so that's why

There, it's outlined. Go do it boyzzz.

P.S. - I have a baseball boner and it hasn't gone down yet, should I consult a doctor?

I dunno man these baseball boners are in their own league. It might slap you in the face for even thinking about going to the doctor.

So just walk around with an erection every waking hour of the day? That seems...ok. Thanks, the support of knowing that others are out there really helps.

There are a "handful" of ways to change your situation, but based on your profile pic, you might not be old enough for the discussion.

You leave me and my Benjamin Button out of this.

Although, given my current cooking background, I can assume, after some time, a "handful" turns into a "spoonful," yes?

Thread of year so far?

+1

And we're only 12 posts deep.

edit: Matt Latos has a 94.50 ERA. Awesome.

Please clarify: is your penis +1, 12 posts long, or 94.50 ERA units?

Only if it lasts longer han four hours a game or till the end of the World Seres, whichever comes LAST!

wite is a sabe, so we're probably measuring with FIP (fairly impressive penis) or WAR (weiner above replacement) here.

I would normally scoff at such an outlandish prediction. However, since this one comes from a man with a gargantuan baseball boner, I'm all good.
