verlander had a 4.54 ERA good for an ERA+ of 88. He was one of the worst qualified starters in the AL. So was Danks. 4.5 ERA is not good, even in US Cellular. We all need to revise the numbers in our head due to this decline in offense. I too see 4.5 ERA and think solid 4th starter but you look at the league stats and it's garbage in this era of reduced offense.

At least the shutout is gone and so is Danks. Finally feel some hope.
