No s***. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. There isn't a single shred of evidence the Sox have some magic elixir to keep pitchers healthy. Throw the f***ing slider.

Actually they do. They routinely appear on the bottom of the lists for DL trips.

Adam LaRoche has reached base in eight of his last 13 plate appearances. #WhiteSox

Sale at 45% fastball, 35% changeup, 25% slider

QS for Sale. Well done!

Sale needs a couple quick efficient innings if he wants a chance to finish this thing.

It'd be nice but I could see him only finishing 7.

Following along online. Looking at the box score it looks like Sale is throwing peas! 82 pitches with 60 of those being strikes. Very nice!

Sale's success today is another piece of evidence against this whole "Player X always struggles/dominates against Team Y". Unless there's a substantial piece of evidence for it (such as maybe a lefty masher doing well against White Sox starting pitching), I tend to ignore it.

I feel like Soto at least puts good wood on the ball way more than Flowers

Sanchez looking like Leury

If he only goes 7, then something went wrong in the 7th as he's only at 82 pitches and with today being a double header I'd think they'll ride him to 115-120 pitch mark.

With the possible exception of division opponents, Sale hasn't faced teams enough times to say there are trends.

Really weird sequence there for Sale. In miles per hour:

87

88

91

93

95

83

Were those first couple meant to be changes?

What was wrong with that pitch?

Sanchez bad throw.

If Abreu could have corralled that throw, would have been an amazing play by Gordon.

So much more impressed by him at 3rd than 2nd.

Last batter of the game here for Sale

Abreu makes a lot of dumb mistakes. LaRoche catches that ball.

I'm kind of ready to see more of Bonafacio at 2nd

Any chance Sale comes out for the 8th?

Knowing this team I'd be surprised if he doesn't.
