How about a HS pitcher not going to 14? Have to imagine last year's historic year for that group has scared a lot of teams. There was a bit of a run on them later, and going that late isn't totally unheard of, but I wonder if they're heading the way of the runningback.

Just to recap, the two articles Future Sox published on Fulmer...

1. The newsy, fact-heavy post

2. The scouting deep dive

Both are excellent and you should read them. Dan and Alex worked the newsy one together (yes THAT Alex, back from the dead), and Will did the scouting piece. Both referenced Jeff's pre-draft profile. All-around work to get these done.

Sale is not a weak #1, LDF.

i believe we are talking the floor here. not the ceiling.

Yea there was a few things I disagreed with in Q's post, but Sale is as close to a no brain #1 as it is.

imho Sale is a #1 as the ceiling and floor.

Yeah I completely agree. Sale is a top 5 pitcher in the game, and probably the best LHP in the game this year.

Today should be pretty interesting, hoping some of these names fall to the Sox. Matuella's medicals must be really bad.

The toughest in college baseball by far.

Going to re-name this a Day 1 thread, and start a Day 2 thread. Unpinning this one shortly.

Just want to not bury discussion.

Or he told teams an outrageous demand.
