Flowers is a backup catcher, nothing more.

 

I don't think the Sox are stupid enough to think otherwise.

Flowers is going to survive this season, but they need to replace him after this year, and have a fresh spring training with a new guy next year.

Honestly, I think if Hahn can acquire a starting catcher he'll keep Soto as the backup over Flowers.

Flowers is LOVED by Sox management they do not think they have ANY issue at Catcher.

Now that's a double play!! But Hawk almost takes out all the enjoyment with his constant Gordon dick-sucking.

Guerra did a good job. If it wasn't for Alexei and Flowers it would have been a quick inning

Danks makes $15M/year. The money alone gives you a reason to trot him out there every 5 days and hope he does enough that some team will take him off your hands at a few million a year. F
