June 21, 201510 yr Got bored at work so went through the schedule and looked at results, adjusting our final runs to 3 compared to opponents that day. 5 games would've ended in 3-3 ties, so I split then up 2-3. So if we scored 3 runs every game, the White Sox record would be...drum roll... 38-29!! That hurts. edit: Every game we scored 3 or over, I left as is. Edited June 21, 201510 yr by Brian

June 21, 201510 yr Last year 33-34 at this same juncture. Doing the same thing, assuming three runs for all those games, they would have picked up just one win and two ties. So 34-33. They scored 3 or more runs in 20 of their first 24 games. In addition, we had 298 runs scored and 313 allowed, a differential of only -15. This year, only 229 scored and 298 allowed....-69 is the third worst in baseball, ahead of only the Brewers and Phils. The Phils are the only team that projects to score less, but they're in the NL. Seattle is close. We've lost 69 runs, more than one run per game, despite adding Cabrera, LaRoche, Bonifacio, Beckham and Soto. Edited June 21, 201510 yr by caulfield12

Most teams would have outstanding records if they never scored fewer than 3 runs in a game...
