He gets paid either way. That is all Danks cares about anyway.

No offense, but this a f***ing stupid comment. Danks is clearly broken, but it's not due to a lack of effort.

It's not about saving the season, it's about having an extended look at him against major league hitters. We need to know what we have in him and the larger the sample the more confident we'll feel.

We're clearly going to have to move some pitching this offseason to fix our offense, whether it's a major league piece or prospects, and I know I'd feel a lot better about moving pitching if I felt Johnson could hold the #4 spot quite effectively.

Waiting until Samardzija is traded is not a bad thing in this case and I'd suggest that's what we should be thinking about with EJ. Get him used to dominating.

Why is Melky looking at the ball?!? Run with your head down!

Best CF arm in baseball.

Yep

Another out on the basepaths...sheesh.

Effort is not there all the time. He goes thru the motions a lot sunshine.

Good gracious - can they go a single game without an out on the base-paths?

Worst baserunning team ever. I didn't see the play but usually you can score from 1st on a 2 out double as well (earlier play)

Important not to give it right back this half inning....happened too many times.

Hell of a throw by Buxton but why should it even be close with a 2 out hit ? . The secondary lead should be huge once the pitcher delivers the ball.

No he really couldn't have.

Buxton, Gallo and Correa the rookies are eating the Sox alive.

Nice inning for Danks

This team is so stupid

What the f*** was that!

Abreu did not hit a double it was a bloop single that was slightly misplayed.

Dumbass play by Bacon there. Another out on the basepath

Shameful base running

This is so bulls*** every game running into outs. Hawk never says a word when GB f***s up.

Was just typing up a post on how college baseball baserunning is horrific just as Beckham does that.

Beckham costs us a run

Sanchez will get a hit here, he's more than due.

7 straight have reached

Lol, that has to be the weakest contact I've seen on a non-bunt swing.

Sanchez blows, hardest hit ball is a three hopper to the pitcher.
