The attorney just said after further investigation, the version from the victim's mom on how the bag ended up in her door is inaccurate and therefore he is withdrawing from the case.

Ok, I'll still wait for the police report to come out, but I stand by my statement from yesterday.

So he said the new story he heard today including the story about the bag has led him to drop the case. Wow.

but joking aside, i just read 6 pages of what i missed.

 

the biggest thing i can think of, he now brings the momentum back on the victim side.

 

the next thing is to let the officials do their work to see if it is the bag or not.

 

on a side note, if it is the part of the same pkg ...... now comes the realm of the possibilities. in other word, some can call into question the actual dna testing or the integrity of the final results.

 

here is a question. what would you do if you were the hawks FO and the official statement is that it part of the official pkg????

I think there's a difference between making public statements and making statements to the police that could matter here.

No. There's so much loaded into a criminal countersuit. They would have to prove the woman didn't think she was assaulted and was knowingly fabricating a story.

This doesn't mean Kane is innocent. I think we're assuming because her lawyer is quitting that Kane is innocent. He could still have done this. It is, however, looking more and more like he's going to have the accusations dropped.
