pretty much everything we "know" has come from reports relying on anonymous sources, right?

Not really. Id say most reasonable people are basing their opinions on info that has come from her lawyer and the DA. There are however a lot of people who have deemed Kane guilty because of his lifestyle from day 1, and those people appear to be wrong but are having trouble admitting it.

At least I won't have to hear her stumble through updates today.

This is a disgrace. Kindly move somewhere far away and burn all your indian head attire. Blackhawks fans should be better than this.

How dare you criticize a reporter Jimmy! So disgraceful.

How many accounts of this were there?

How do you know this was a Blackhawks fan?

I have yet to see where twitter is a useful source of anything other than showing how stupid people can be.

Sports fans that send twitter thoughts about their teams that have no writing ability above the 8th grade should be disregarded.

Exactly.

Supporting someone who threatens a person because of their view is disgraceful. The last thing the Blackhawks need right now is their fans threatening local reporters.

He may be innocent but let's not act like Kane is a very smart or a very good person. He had a coke problem, hepunched a cab driver over some change, he attempted to choke a woman at University of Wisconsin and now this after weeks before saying "watch out for me" at the SC parade. It's apparent he has no idea how to act as a young man with millions. It doesn't help that his dad is a f***ing moron who has enabled him for years. I would not be the least bit surprised if the Hawks make him get his alcohol abuse issue looked at and, whether or not he does it, attempt to deal him in July 2016 because he cannot be trusted.

And there it is.

They won't deal him, but they may well look into his substance abuse issues.

Agreed he may not be a good person. This isn't his first altercation.

There what is?

Let's not forget he also made racial jokes at Wisconsin. But hey he should get the benefit of the doubt here!

Making insensitive jokes and having sex with someone against their will are completely incomparable. He gets the benefit of the doubt because in our society you are innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.

My post before that was much more in detail. Don't take one of my many examples to make your point. It was reported by many students that he began choking the woman there because she turned him down for sex. Again he's a f***ing moron. If you doubt that, that's your objective.

The issue here is that we either blame Kane or blame her. I'm not sure why we're all cheering for this to end because her mom messed things up. If Kane did this, I hope he rots. Personally, I watch Law and Order and cheer for the rapist/murderer/etc to get caught and charged. Just because he's my favorite hockey player, I'm not going to hope her mom got him off easy (if he did it). Since when did we as a society start this "oh she's probably a gold digger" perspective on rape? It's utter BS and not fair to the victims. All of a sudden, is she hard to believe? Probably, but Kane has a history of criminal garbage and he may be even more hard to trust.

before anything can be discuss or talk about, esp if Kane and co want to do something positive. here is the biggest but, this whole legal mambo jumbo needs to be finalized.

btw this is the streak of bad luck i was talking about it.

Streak of bad luck for who/what?

People on twitter like to throw around the word "exonerated" to describe what will happen to Kane. No one is winning. This isn't a game. A woman believes she was violated, a star hockey player is a behavioral problem, a Stanley Cup offseason is completely ruined, and Blackhawk fans look bad like Joe Paterno supporters and Ray Rice supporters.

no matter what the things he did was bad in any one scale. the problem is he is young and doing something ..... would he ever been look at if he isn't the Kane of the SC winning blackhawks, who is making a huge amount of change.

i am sure there are other young lads who are sports stars doing, i don't know, things that many may consider stupid. but why was Kane in getting in trouble.

so i say it is bad luck.....

Bad situations are not all bad luck, and when they happen to a person with a degree of frequency then it probably has very little to do with luck

Yes they would be because sexual assault is serious whether you're rich or poor. Not every convicted/charged/accused rapist is rich.

Uh because punching a cab driver, choking a woman, shouting racial jokes, being a drunk a**hole and supposedly sexually assaulting someone gets anyone in trouble.

Everyone gets in trouble for doing criminal things, not just hockey players.

It's not bad luck. It's pure stupidity on Kane's part.

you are confusing me, i don't want to get into an argument on something that is really minor in the conversation. then many post later it goes the same way i was mentioning.

however you posted this when i said i was done..... done arguing, done addressing with a certain posters on a particular subject.

can you explain the bold

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 04:42 PM)
You are never done, but you always say that. Its hard to figure out because Drunkbomber wasnt being petty and there was nothing semantic about what he was talking about

You say you are done arguing a subject, and within a few posts you are doing it again. It is what it is, we all argue.

I just don't understand why you are saying anything in this situation is bad luck. Luck has nothing to do with it

but that is luck.... it is not that he is trying to get in these situation, he is a the wrong place and the wrong time.

but let me go further, he hired a driver .... an off duty cop.... also to act as a body guard. yet he still get into this situation. what more can he do???

after i said i was done, i did not respond to him.

so according to your logic.... when i was i am done, do you think i should leave the whole site as well????

ref the bold, i realize i missed it and posted in another post.

this is a comment that need some considering of what really happen. only 2 people knows for sure. it is a credibility question.
